Voting period: February 15th-February 28th

Rules:
Only 2d art or small objects (maximum dimensions: 2ft x 2ft x 2ft) will be accepted.
You must be 18 or older to enter.
You do not have to be a Blue Island resident to submit, but you do have to be someone who uses/visits our library.
The theme is broad. A character can be human, nonhuman, an animate object, real or fictional, personal or historical/celebrity figures. They can be original or non-original.
You must submit a brief (1-3 sentence) description of your work.
Work must be clearly labeled and prepared for display.
Submitting:
Bring your artwork to the Reference Desk any time between December 1st 2025 and February 15th 2026.
You will fill out a submission form and leave your work with us.
It will be displayed, and you will be contacted when it’s ready to be retrieved.
Voting:
Voting will be done in person only. A ballot box will be at the reference desk during the voting period. Everyone – including artists – may vote once. You can vote for yourself. You do not need to be a Blue Island Library resident to vote but you must be a regular library user.
