Future Authors of Blue Island (FABI)

Ms. Jamie will be hosting Future Authors of Blue Island (FABI for short). FABI will meet every Monday from 1/22 until 2/26. There will be NO MEETING February 19th, as the library will be closed in honor of President’s Day. 

This is best for ages 7-13, but any child who can write independently is welcome to attend. Children who attend every session will receive a surprise on the last day (2/26). Each child should bring a notebook to use throughout the course of the programming series. If they don’t bring one, there are notebooks available to keep for free first-come, first-serve. Registration is not required to attend. 

The goal of this club is to find enjoyment in the process of writing, to learn about different types of writing & improve writing skills, and to encourage self-reflection and self-discovery through the writing process. Email jhasty@blueislandlibrary.org with any questions.
