One Day in Spring, Something Happened…

In 1977, the Blue Island Public Library hosted a poetry contest and published the poetry that the community submitted in a book called One Day in Spring, Something Happened. 

Now, we are going to reprint it and add illustrations based on the poetry…now, that’s where you come in! Join us on select days to receive a poem to illustrate. Return it to have it published in the final book, which will go back on the Non-Fiction shelves in Youth Services! No registration is required to attend this free event.
