Blue Island Public Library is seeking a friendly, self-motivated individual to provide excellent customer service from the library’s busy Reference Desk, assisting with all patron requests and other operational Adult Services Department tasks as they may arise.

Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2 or more years of direct customer service experience, library experience preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, copiers and mobile devices, familiarity with Google drive/MS Office software
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree required, MLS candidates encouraged to apply
Experience with product displays or merchandising preferred
Spanish language skills desired
